the army is now allowing lycans into our crypt. if you have joined as a vampyre but would like to change to lycan or halfbreed you must read the following carefully :

1) note us with the change. do not leave a message. you MUST SEND US A NOTE. in that note, let us know what you are changing to.

2) we ask that you DO NOT change your name, as well.

3) if you are an EMBRACED or an ELDER who has decided to change and want to submit a new portrait, you WILL be permitted to do so.

if you are new to this army, scroll down and READ THE RULES. make sure you understand everything. if you have questions, note us.

please feel free to submit any lycan banners or stamps. remember we are THE VAMPYRE ARMY first and foremost. we do not want anything promoting a LYCAN army. we suggest something along the lines of 'the vampyre army : now with 50% more Lycan'. use your wicked imaginations.

don't forget. 'embraced' members who donate graphics to the club are raised to 'elder' status. something to think about.

Anyone who JOINS the club is a 'Fledgling' automatically.

You will remain in that state until you submit an image of you as your vampyre, then you will advance to 'Embraced' and you must choose a sire.

THE SIRE MUST be in the club and must already be 'Embraced'.

You ARE permitted to choose myself (^Bloodredsangre), *Drakenborg or *MrE1967 as your sire but please let us know via note.

The highest level for club members, of course, is the 'Elder' and that rank is only possible to reach by volunteering to help out with the club in some manner (making banners, stamps, CSS, donating contest prizes etc.)

You MUST be 'Embraced' status before becoming an 'Elder'.

(please note THE SAME rules apply for vampyres. lycans, and halfbreeds.)

How do I join this army of darkness?

Send us a note with the subject line 'JOIN' - do not just add us to your friends list. We may not catch you as our numbers grow. In that note you must choose to be a vampyre, lycan or halfbreed (half vamp, half lycan). This is how you will be added to our clan.

How do I submit vamp/lycan picture to become 'Embraced'?

Note us with a link to the submission and the subject line 'GALLERY SUBMISSION'. At that time, you must also choose your sire.

I want to join but I cannot draw my vampyre/lycan - what do I do?

Any artistic representation of your vamp/lycan is fine. A poem, a song, a photograph. It doesn't matter. As long as you submit your work to the gallery...

I know I need a Vampyre/Lycan name but I can't think of one. Where do I start?

There are lots of Vampyre/Lycan Name Generators on the internet. [link] [link] and [link] are just a few examples. But remember, no two vampyres/lycans may have the same name so you should try very hard to think up an original name.

How DO I and how often CAN I submit my vampyre/lycan works to the club?

You may submit your works to us once a week. Please note us the link to the image and it will be added to the gallery. We ask that all images submitted be vamp/lycan related.

I appreciate all the fine vampyre renderings that our army has and is producing. But doesn't anyone want to produce their vampyre self in light of the macabre night terrors of old; in the image of Nosferatu the Vampyre? When I create my vampyre self, it will bring back the reason why it is good for mortals to fear the night. I hope to see more images that are less romanticized . . . . but would we loose the sexy aspect of the Vampyre if did so. Hay we all love sexy! I hope we can bring the two together . . . somehow.
